Field Visit Report – Yobe State Ministries and Agencies

Date of Visit: 8th December, 2025

Location: Potiskum, Nangere & Damaturu, Yobe State

Project: Shelter Pack Support Project – Ongoing Implementation Plan


 1. Introduction 


The Hazras Charity Foundation (HCF) team conducted an official visit to key government institutions in Yobe State to seek collaboration and notify them of our ongoing Shelter Pack Project, targeted at supporting vulnerable households across selected communities.


The visit aimed to strengthen partnership, enhance coordination, and ensure smooth implementation of all upcoming project activities in the state.

3. State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) – Yobe State


 3. Purpose of the Visit


To formally notify the State Government through the concerned ministries of the ongoing Shelter Pack Project by HCF.


To seek collaboration, support, and alignment with state structures for effective and transparent implementation.


To request coordination and guidance on beneficiary verification and community-level engagement.


To ensure that all project activities comply with state humanitarian protocols and frameworks.


 4. Key Points Discussed


Presentation of the Shelter Pack Project objectives, target beneficiaries, and implementation timeline.


Need for inter-agency cooperation (Planning, Humanitarian, and SEMA) to avoid duplication of interventions.


Importance of security support, local authority clearance, and data verification.


Request for state-level support during field operations and monitoring exercises.


Assurance from HCF on accountability, transparency, and real-time activity reporting.


 5. Responses from the Ministries/Agency


The officials appreciated HCF’s timely intervention toward supporting vulnerable families in Yobe State.


A commitment was shown to collaborate, coordinate, and provide necessary administrative support.


The ministries emphasized proper documentation and alignment with state development and humanitarian plans.


SEMA pledged operational guidance, including community entry protocols and beneficiary identification.
