Is TADAMON available in other countries?
TADAMON is online and available for organizations globally. Nevertheless, we work with CSOs that deliver their work in Member Countries of OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation).
Are there any costs associated with signing up?
No, TADAMON does not charge any fees for our services. TADAMON is fully funded by our main partners and operates on a non-profit basis. The support to CSOs is completely free of charge and will remain like this!
What is TADAMON?
TADAMON is both a platform and a tool of connection, where citizens and the private sector can connect with CSOs, and with their humanitarian and development efforts and financially support them.
TADAMON empowers organizations to get to the next level by supporting them on several different aspects, such as improving their visibility, building their capacities, and financially supporting their programs through the training and engagement in crowdfunding and alternative financing solutions, connecting CSOs with partners and funders besides to connecting CSOs with other relevant IsDB, ISFD programs of support.
Who is TADAMON for?
TADAMON serves both CSOs and development organizations in OIC Member Countries looking for new funding and networking opportunities, and building new skills. The platform also aims to attracts citizens and the private sector looking to support civil society organizations.
My organization is "pending approval", should I be worried?
No! It will take some time for us to approve all organizations, we are working on it! To maximise your chances of getting approved as soon as possible, please log in and fully complete and double-check your organizational profile and information.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
No worries, go to admin.tadamon.community/forgot-password and request a reset link to your email. After you reset your password, log in with the new one!
How can I sign up for TADAMON?
Tadamon welcomes CSOs, Partners and Private Citizens to sign up and become members of our community. To sign up please follow the instructions and fill in your information via our Sign Up-page. After we have reviewed your submission we will send you a confirmation email that your profile has been created.
Why should I sign up for TADAMON?
There are a lot of reasons why you should be a part of our community, but let us list a few of what we feel are the most important ones. For CSOs our platform provides your organization with visibility to new partners and investors, bridging the gap between you and your potential donors. Through Tadamon we grant access to custom made online courses for your staff and organization. With us you will become a part of the vetted and verified Tadamon CSO network and get the opportunity to participate in one of our Crowdfunding Academies and build your organization's capacities.
Ultimately Tadamon serves as an online marketplace connecting everyone in your community around common development goals. Whether you are a CSO, donor or a private citizen looking to contribute, we welcome you to become part of our community.
How do I start a Campaign?
One of the services that TADAMON provides is, serving as an aggregating platform for our member organizations showcasing their crowdfunding projects, hosted on our partners websites. If you wish to start a new crowdfunding campaign or project see our list of partners who offer such services and follow their instructions. Once you have a campaign created on one of our partnering platforms, follow this LINK to sign up for TADAMON and add your campaign on to the platform. After we have reviewed the content of your submission your campaign will be visible both through our Crowdfunding Campaigns page as well as on your organization profile page.

What is crowdfunding and what types of crowdfunding can I do on TADAMON?
Crowdfunding is the way of funding a project or venture by raising small amounts of money from a large number of people, typically via the Internet.
By 2025, the World Bank estimates that crowdfunding is expected to grow to US$300 billion from US$ 1 billion in 2011and US$ 60-70 billion in 2016. Currently, crowdfunding is one of the largest sources of financing for SMEs. Blending crowdfunding with Islamic finance such as ISFD Waqf towards the pursuit of SDGs and humanitarian purpose bear a significant potential for initiating or empowering crowdfunding activities. In this regard, crowdfunding elements bring technological improvement to the existing cultural flows of Islamic finance, which is expected to surpass US$ 3 trillion by 2020.
There are a variety of different types of crowdfunding from rewards based to equity based. Without excluding other models the majority of campaigns on tadamon focus on donation based as our development partners are mostly non-profit CSOs.
What does Tadamon do to protect its community?
We do not provide any information about our partners to third parties. All information that is collected is strictly for improving our services and the user experience of our members. Tadamon has a strict policy about user privacy and we do not use any information about our members without their consent.
How do backers know if a project will go through?
Tadamon only publishes campaigns for credible and reputable CSOs on the website . A mapping exercise is done in each OIC member country to select the top CSOs. Tadamon cannot guarantee the implementation of a project.
What is Tadamon’s privacy policy?
We at Tadamon believe that privacy is a fundamental human right that should be respected and upheld in all circumstances. Thus we do not publicise, share or make use of any information of our users without their consent. All information that is gathered by us of our users if for the purpose of improving our services and delivering you the best experience possible. What information is public about my organization?
Once you sign on to Tadamon and create a public profile, then information that will be publicly visible on the website is the following: Name of your organization, Logo, Selected address and contact information, field of work and existing campaigns that you are looking to be funded. AYou will be able to also add additional information about the issues you are working with and what kind of partnerships you are looking for.
How can I report something inappropriate or a violation (trademark or copyright) on the platform?
We expect all our members to behave responsibly and hold ourselves to the same standards as well. However if you see something on TADAMON that you deem to be in violation of our Terms of Service, unethical, offensive or violating the copyright or trademark of your or another organization, you can report this to us by sending an email to team@tadamon.community and our team will address the issue.
I don’t want to be a part of Tadamon anymore. How can I delete my account?
We are sorry to hear that you feel that our services are no longer of use to you. Before logging off entirely we encourage you to send us your feedback on how we could improve our services and together take our platform in a direction that best serves us all. If you still feel that TADAMON is not for you or your organization, please contact our community service at team@tadamon.community with your request and we will delete your account.
