The IsDB-ISFD-NGO Empowerment for Poverty Reduction is a partnership program sponsored by The Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development (ISFD), managed by The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and implemented by United Nations Development program (UNDP) and other strategic partners.
Through the 10-Years Strategy and President 5-Years Program (P5P, which stress the need for IsDB group becoming the Bank of network of developers that increase the role of the Civil Society Organizations in contributing to the socio-economic development of the member countries, IsDB-ISFD NGOs Empowerment for Poverty Reduction Program seeks to empower CSOs, mobilize resources and leverage expertise to eradicating poverty.
Our model of working has five dimensions:
TADAMON facilitates and supports innovative ideas that have the potential to scale up and increase the humanitarian-development results. TADAMON uses cutting edge flexible financing
TADAMON uses cutting edge flexible financing mechanisms such as crowdfunding and Islamic social financing. We build partnership across range of avenues to mobilize resources to meet critical noble causes and build a sustainable source of support for vulnerable groups such as Refugees/IDPs, orphans, people with disabilities and the most deprived.
TADAMON brands and packages the CSOs impactful ideas and achievements to scale up and increase development results. TADAMON showcases and celebrates the progress and achievements of our partners through IsDB Group CSOs forum.
We assist and empower CSOs in IsDB MCs through institutional capacity development to effectively and efficiently respond to the needs of the MCs
TADAMON connects and brings together networks of developers through mapping, screening of CSOs, sharing knowledge, experience, best practice and information
We invest in transformative projects and ideas that improves the Socio-Economic conditions of hard to reach communities through CSOs campaigns and partnership commitments. We spark change!
The IsDB ISFD NGO Empowerment for Poverty Reduction Program is focused on supporting Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and local communities active in development and in poverty reduction.
As a platform to connect efforts of all the partners, TADAMON is committed to building stronger communities and helping those less fortunate. Equality, transparency, accountability and bringing hope stand at the core of everything we do.
TADAMON platform was born out of a need to better understand the needs of CSOs.
TADAMON was created to provide more visibility to CSOs` projects and activities, support them to have better access to alternative finance and connect them to other potential partners and supporters.
Throughout our professional and personal careers we have witnessed how crowdfunding, alternative finance, building CSOs capacities and building communities across boundaries has breathed new life into old ideas and brought visibility and innovation. For us, every individual, be their contribution big or small has the power to make our world a better place, when brought together. And this is the fundamental idea behind TADAMON
Our team consists of dedicated experts from across the world with a shared vision of empowering NGOs, using crowdfunding for development, building CSOs capacities and supporting local communities to bring change. Members of our community include professionals in development, alternative finance, capacity building and communications, just to name a few. All are here to provide tailored services for our community members.
