The formal partnership between Hazras Charity Foundation (HCF) and the Nigeria Legal Aid Council was established to expand and improve legal aid services for underserved communities in Nigeria. This report outlines the core objectives, expected outcomes, and collaborative activities planned under this partnership.


2. Objectives


The partnership is designed to address the following objectives:


Increased Access to Legal Aid: Provide comprehensive legal services to marginalized individuals across Nigeria.


Legal Literacy and Awareness: Educate communities on their legal rights and avenues for legal support.


Capacity Building: Strengthen both organizations through joint training, knowledge sharing, and resource collaboration.


3. Planned Activities and Initiatives


Community Legal Clinics: Organize mobile legal clinics to deliver free legal consultations in rural and underserved areas.


Legal Awareness Workshops: Conduct regular workshops in local communities, aiming to build awareness about rights and legal processes.


Training Programs: Develop training sessions for both HCF and Legal Aid Council staff to ensure high-quality, coordinated legal support services.
