Challenge

In the coastal town of Tadjourah, fishermen are grappling with worn-out fishing equipment and financial difficulties in acquiring essential gear (boards, coolers, fishing accessories, etc.). The objective of this campaign is to raise funds for providing fishing equipment to support artisanal fishermen and enhance the capacity of the fishing cooperative.

Solution

The campaign aims to provide material and technical support to empower 20 artisanal fishermen in sustainable income-generating fishing activities.

This involves distributing fishing equipment to 20 young fishermen in the Tadjourah region, renovating and rehabilitating sales points, establishing a new cooperative for the supported fishermen, and conducting beach cleaning initiatives at various locations, including Fia Beach and Cheik Mohamed Beach.
