Summary

Our campaign “Open the World to the Children of Labor Migrant Workers” aims to support and integrate into society children of labor migrants aged 15 to 25 years old living in the Bulakbashi district of the Andijan region of Uzbekistan through English language educational programs. We strive to create equal opportunities for their development and successful future.

Challenge

Every child dreams of a future full of opportunities and hope. But for many children of labor migrants in remote areas of Uzbekistan, these dreams often remain unattainable. Let's work together to change the situation and give children a chance for a bright future. Unfortunately, we cannot reach all the children at once, so for now we have decided to focus on one area - Bulakbashi district, a remote border area in the Andijan region.

Solution

We plan to solve this problem by creating and supporting English language educational programs in the Bulakbashi district of the Andijan region. This region of Uzbekistan is considered one of the economically backward regions of the country, where there is not a single plant or factory. The working-age population leaves en masse to work in Russia, Kazakhstan or neighboring Kyrgyzstan. 7 out of 10 children in this region grow up with their grandparents - because their parents left to work so that the family could survive. Without the financial means to pay for private English courses, the children of labor migrants are forced to follow their parents after finishing school. The situation is even worse for young girls who are immediately married off after finishing school. Without proper education and professions, they join the ranks of unemployed people. We teach children of labor migrants free of charge in intensive English courses so that they can then use this knowledge to find work or study abroad. Our project has already proven its effectiveness in other regions, where we have helped more than 100 children get a quality education and come closer to their dreams. We believe that with your help we can help even more children, realize their dreams and become useful to society.

We have been involved in educational projects for over 5 years. Our team consists of experienced teachers, psychologists and volunteers who have dedicated their lives to improving the quality of education in Uzbekistan. During this time, we have helped more than 200 children and continue to work on expanding our activities.
