Summary
The 'Feed Them Right' campaign introduces a novel approach to promoting healthy and sustainable nutrition for the children, who are the future youth, by providing 110 students with nutritious meals and educating them on the importance of healthy nutrition for their well-being over a 30-day period.
Challenge
In light of the challenging economic conditions faced by the Jordanian people, the difficulties confronting families with school-going children are on the rise. Parents are finding it increasingly hard to ensure that their children receive a healthy diet. Furthermore, the proliferation of toxic and carcinogenic substances in the markets presents a growing and severe threat.
Solution
The campaign aims to provide meals containing fresh vegetables and fruits. In addition, it ensures that children in schools have access to clean water, contributing to their health and enhancing their ability to concentrate and engage in learning. The campaign also promotes children's sense of security by providing them with funds during the school day, improving their well-being, and enabling them to make the most of their educational opportunities. Furthermore, the campaign strives to raise awareness among our children about the importance of consuming healthy food through inspiring and encouraging awareness lectures that promote healthy eating habits in their daily lives. The campaign also supports farmers by purchasing their agricultural products, increasing their income, and encouraging them to continue farming, thus playing a role in preserving the environment and addressing climate change issues.
