Rural Development Organization

The Ruler Development Organization (RDO) has played a significant role in fostering positive change and development in the Dir Lower region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) since 1999. Notably, RDO has successfully executed a diverse range of projects, spanning disaster risk reduction, education, healthcare, livelihood support, and community development. Key achievements include the implementation of measures to reduce disaster risks in vulnerable communities, the establishment of alternate learning spaces for conflict-affected schools, and the provision of essential services to communities affected by conflicts and natural disasters. RDO's commitment to addressing pressing issues, such as food insecurity and the rights of marginalized groups, is evident in projects like the School Feeding Program, Rehabilitation of People with Disabilities, and Health and Hygiene Education initiatives. The organization's collaborations with reputable donors, including UNDP, World Vision Pakistan, and UNWFP, highlight its ability to garner support for impactful projects. Through these efforts, RDO has made significant strides in promoting sustainable development, community resilience, and social well-being in the Dir Lower region.
