Summary

This campaign creates access to education and works for young people with disabilities in Kokand and nearby villages.

Challenge

The amount of pension for children with disabilities, which is issued by the state, is very small, it is not enough for the growth and increase of potential of young people with disabilities. Not all of them can enter higher educational institutions. Courses for training in a narrow specialty are paid, which not all families can afford. Due to the lack of a good specialty, they cannot get a job, which contributes to the deprivation of these people.

Solution

Young people with disabilities are forced to stay at home due to the lack of a specialty needed by society. They lack the qualifications to get a job in a narrow specialty - computer literacy. Despite some laws adopted in the country, there are still many enterprises that do not hire people with disabilities. In search of solutions to this situation, our organization calls on caring people to help 50 young guys and girls with disabilities learn a narrow specialty: computer literacy, office programming, web programming, SMM, service engineering, graphic design, Python programming. There is an oral agreement between the NGO "Ezgu Niyat" and the educational institution "Billion Innovations Education" on preferential terms of training within the framework of this initiative. After training, young people can work without leaving home and earn money, contribute to the family budget, and make all their most cherished dreams come true. Our educational partners will conduct group courses in the following specialties: computer literacy, office programming, web programming, SMM, service engineering, graphic design, Python programming. Three people will study in a group at the same time with an unprecedented discount of almost 70%, for a third of the cost of standard training: 400 thousand soums per month per student. Within 3 months, they will receive an education and in the next 3 months, they will undergo an internship at the same price. So, upon completion of the courses, they will be employed. The first courses for our wards will begin in January of the new year, but the amount for training must be collected now. We plan to train 50 people in one of their chosen courses in the areas of computer literacy, office and web programming, SMM, service engineering, graphic design, Python programming. Each will study and intern for 6 months. Since many of the children are unable to move around without an escort or have limited funds for travel, we rent transport so that they can go to classes. In conclusion, we will buy everyone a computer for remote work, and also help them with employment to ensure a stable income. To implement this, we need 372 million soums, or about 29 thousand dollars. All expenses are listed in the attached table. The idea and materials for this campaign were developed with the support of the IsDB, ISFD, and UNDP.

Our wards are the young people with whom we work every day. These people live next to us, and we want to improve the lives of everyone.
