Summary

The campaign aims to offer millennials vocational training in agriculture, paving the way for them to become skilled farmers.

Challenge

As our era continues to advance, millennials play a crucial role in shaping a modern, smart, and high-quality agricultural sector. To ensure international competitiveness and foster a new generation of young entrepreneurs who contribute to the nation's agricultural progress, it's essential for millennials to actively participate in building agricultural businesses.

Solution

The Khair Yasmin Amal Foundation is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of young farmers through its social program. This initiative led to the establishment of the H. Hasan Mustapa Agribusiness Vocational School in Megamendung, Bogor. Hasan Mustapa Agribusiness Vocational School (Haspa) is actively involved in various environmental and social projects.

These include the creation of an environmentally friendly organic farming system, village development, and partnerships with local farmers. The goal is to expand and share these projects with nearby farmers, fostering awareness and appreciation for the natural environment. This effort not only promotes environmental consciousness and healthy food practices but also contributes to the well-being of farmers, uplifting their livelihoods.

Haspa Vocational High School is actively working towards the development of Agrotourism or Agroedutourism as a key focus for the future. This initiative is rooted in the natural potential of the Gede Pangrango mountains' slopes and the local wisdom of rural farmers.

These resources create an ideal setting for educational and recreational purposes. The goal is to establish a place where people can learn and enjoy their vacations, contributing to the improvement of the well-being of local farmers, residents, and the overall regional income in the future.

The Agrotourism program, serving as both a recreational and educational hub for agriculture, reflects Haspa Vocational School's commitment to and active involvement in the development of agriculture.
