Summary

The campaign aims to raise awareness about climate change and pollution for 12,920 people including 40 youth.

Challenge

Faced with the dual challenges of high population density and significant displacement rates in the City Directorate of Amran Governorate and the Abs Directorate of Hajjah Governorate, Yemen, our team recognized the urgent need to address the escalating environmental pollution caused by used car and truck tires. The substantial contribution of these tires to pollution, coupled with the vulnerability of these densely populated and displaced communities, highlighted the critical importance of raising awareness and promoting environmental responsibility. In response, we created this campaign to engage the energy and enthusiasm of youth, educating them on the negative effects of climate change and environmental pollution, and empowering them to become proactive agents of change in their communities.
