Campaign Status

Ongoing Offline: The campaign is currently ongoing offline and, thus still in the process of collecting funds.

Summary

The campaign aims to manufacture and distribute 4,000 reusable menstrual hygiene kits and conduct awareness-raising activities in the refugee camps.

Challenge

The Sudanese refugee women and girls living in the new camps of Farchana, Gaga, Adré, and Ambelia, located in eastern Chad, lack suitable menstrual hygiene products and services. This significantly impacts the health, dignity, education, participation, and protection of these women and girls. By providing menstrual hygiene kits and conducting awareness-raising activities, we aim to improve their quality of life, restore their dignity, and enhance their overall well-being.

Solution

We will manufacture and distribute 4,000 reusable menstrual hygiene kits and conduct awareness sessions in these camps to educate about good menstrual hygiene practices and promote respect for their rights. Our goal is to provide a sustainable solution to this problem and improve the quality of life for these refugee women and girls.

The impact of this campaign goes beyond simple kit distribution; it aims to restore the dignity, health, and protection of these women. By working closely with community leaders, women's groups, and camp management, we will ensure that beneficiaries are identified and registered appropriately. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that these women can live with dignity and respect, even in challenging circumstances.
