Challenge

Over the last two years, the organization engaged in a process of introspection and assessment, collaborating with other NGOs. Through this reflection, they identified shared challenges that transcend individual organizational boundaries. This collective realization underscored the need for more sustainable financial support to address common issues faced by the NGOs involved.

We are in a race against time! Despite numerous environmental efforts, the pace of climate change is outstripping our ability to respond. This decade is absolutely crucial. What can we possibly achieve in these next 10 years?

Solution

The objective of the initiative is to create a crowdfunding platform supporting environmentally friendly projects in Indonesia. Non-profit organizations encounter challenges in obtaining sustainable financing at a minimum level. Our solution entails the creation of a user-friendly crowdfunding platform specifically designed for non-profits. This platform seeks to collect donations from the public, private sector for inventive projects that contribute to the support of other NGOs focused on specific topics. The funds collected are subsequently allocated among these environmental champions, promoting collaboration and a collective impact.

Distinguishing itself from other NGOs, this initiative involves collecting funds, which are then centrally managed and distributed to various NGOs and environmental entities in Indonesia. Unlike traditional models where NGOs individually collect and manage donations, this approach centralizes the process, fostering efficiency, collaboration, and impactful distribution of resources to advance environmental initiatives across the country.
