Campaign Status
Ongoing Offline: The campaign is currently ongoing offline and, thus still in the process of collecting funds.
Summary
The campaign aims to provide 250 vulnerable women with biscuit and spaghetti manufacturing machines and equipment to help them generate income.
Challenge
In the provinces of Chari-Baguirmi, Salamat, Logone Oriental, Ouaddaï, and Lake Chad, vulnerable women face significant economic challenges due to a lack of financial means and opportunities. Establishing 25 groups of 10 women each and providing them with biscuit and spaghetti manufacturing machines can equip these women with the necessary tools to generate income and meet their basic needs. However, without access to production materials and proper training in manufacturing techniques and hygiene, their potential remains untapped. Addressing these barriers is crucial to enhancing their production capacities and achieving self-reliance.
Solution
The project aims to raise funds to provide vulnerable women's groups with biscuit and spaghetti manufacturing equipment, including machines, benches, and ingredients such as milk, flour, sugar, butter, eggs, and other additives. 25 groups each containing 10 women will be targeted in this campaign.
This will enable them to improve their income levels and living conditions, empowering them to meet some of their daily needs independently. Hygiene kits will ensure sanitary conditions for the production of these food items in compliance with our hygiene standards. This involves setting up handwashing stations with detergents, gloves, bleach, work attire, and additional utensils.
