Summary
The project aims to construct a vocational training center for orphans and children from vulnerable families in Djibouti City. This initiative aims to provide educational and training opportunities, enabling these children to develop essential job skills, improve their future prospects, and break the cycle of poverty.
Challenge
Education and training are the keys to individual and societal development. By offering access to quality education and training opportunities, the association hopes to break the cycle of poverty and provide children with bright prospects for the future.
Solution
The AQM association is actively seeking funds to establish a training center aimed at assisting orphans and children from vulnerable families in Djibouti City, who have discontinued their education due to financial constraints. The proposed project involves the construction of a multifaceted center that will provide diverse disciplines. The primary goal is to furnish educational and training opportunities, enabling these children to acquire professional skills and lay the foundation for a more promising future. The strategic location of the center ensures convenient access for children in the surrounding area, thereby maximizing its positive impact on the local community.
It will offer a variety of training programs tailored to the needs of children. This will include professional courses in areas such as English, computer literacy, French proficiency, electrical skills, Quranic studies, cooking, aluminum work, and access to a library, among others. By providing them with the skills needed to succeed in the workforce, these children will be empowered to become productive members of society.
This training center will be a place of learning, growth, and hope for children who might otherwise face significant obstacles in life. Additionally, we aim to provide psychological and emotional support to help them overcome trauma and build resilience.
