Campaign Status
Ongoing Online: The campaign is currently ongoing online, and as a result, the fundraising process continues.
Summary
The campaign aims to create a supportive environment for the early care and development of children aged 0-4 years affected by war, through parenting education, community education, and preschool activities.
Challenge
Children born from conflict-related circumstances often miss out on the early childhood care and education typically provided within a family. They may face social rejection from peers and experience negative treatment from the community, often carrying the stigma associated with their fathers’ involvement in conflict. Limited parenting resources, extreme poverty, and concerns about safety hinder the ability of young mothers to provide the essential early care these children need and to engage in available support programs.
Solution
The project seeks to create a supportive environment for the early care and development of children aged 0-4 years through parenting education, community education, and preschool activities. This initiative will encourage survivors to adhere to their individual recovery protocols. Additionally, it will create opportunities for teacher education through early childhood development workshops and partnerships, preparing them for kindergarten.
The project will offer parenting education for young adolescent mothers, addressing stereotypes and social discrimination against children born in conflict through community education.
