Campaign Status

New Campaign - Ongoing Online: The campaign has been recently launched, thus still in the process of collecting funds.

Summary

The campaign aims to provide vocational training and skill development to 180 young men and women.

Challenge

The campaign addresses the pressing challenge of high youth unemployment rates in Libya, which currently stands at 41%. The limited government involvement in developing youth skills and providing job opportunities further exacerbates the issue. Additionally, most young people lack the training and capabilities required to enhance their skills beyond project management or marketing.

Solution

To address these challenges, the campaign adopts a multifaceted approach comprising three key components:

  • Capacity Building: The campaign offers a range of training courses aimed at enhancing the skills of young individuals in various professions, including project management, mobile phone maintenance, hairdressing, coffee preparation for cafés, and e-marketing.
  • Meetings: These gatherings bring together targeted youth and accomplished individuals who share their success stories and business development journeys. These personal experiences inspire and motivate young participants, fostering growth within themselves and their businesses in each region.
  • Media: The campaign utilizes various social media platforms to raise awareness and promote its objectives. This broad reach helps it connect with a wider audience and garner support for its cause.

Long-Term Impact:

The 'Dream, Learn, Succeed' campaign holds the potential for significant, long-term impact. Providing vulnerable youth with vocational skills and knowledge, not only creates economic and employment opportunities but also fosters a sustainable future. The campaign promotes the spirit of entrepreneurship, savings, and the establishment of small businesses, enabling individuals to secure their livelihoods and contribute to societal stability and overall development.

Additionally, the initiative aims to address the issue of youth unemployment, boost national income, and improve the living standards of individuals, particularly the most vulnerable youth in society.
