Yemeni Observatory for Human Rights is a non-governmental, non-profit human rights development institution established in 2004, working to contribute to the protection of human rights for both sexes as universal rights and promoting equality and non-discrimination based on gender, for this purpose YOHR works to monitor and evaluate the human rights, civil, political, economic, social and cultural, and works to prepare studies and research related to economic conditions Social and development issues, promoting the dissemination of the values of integrity, transparency, anti-corruption, and monitoring the elections as one of the mechanisms of democracy and the human rights' protection.

YOHR also contributes in the field of humanitarian, relief and health work during disasters and conflicts.
