Somali Enligh and Development Organization (SEDO) SEDO’s is a non-profit and non-governmental organization established in the spirit of humanity and social development. SEDO was established in 2015 by group humanitarian professionals who have been in the field of human and social development for more than 30 years. 


SEDO has its headquarter office in Mogadishu, Somalia, and operational offices in Baidoa and Kismayo. The organization has a donor liaison office in Nairobi and has recently opened a new satellite office in Jigjiga Ethiopia. The organization has an aspiration to expand its operational scope into the Horn Africa region. We advocate for the voiceless communities in the region and with a promise to deliver the highest-level service delivery.

SEDO has adopted a cost-effective strategy in implementing community development programs on Agricultural and livelihood development projects in Bay & Bakool, Lower & Middle Juba and Banadir region and has been actively developing its structures on conducting projects on Education, Social Protection and women and youth engagement and entrepreneurship. We have also undertaken a few projects baselines, developing monitoring and evaluation frameworks for community-based organizations, as well as organizational capacity building on project cycle management and project logical frameworks.
