SHORT PROFILE 

Association of Women in Trade and Agriculture (AWITA) was incorporated in Nigeria as nongovernmental and not for profit organization, registered with Corporate Affairs Commission in 2019 with number CAC/IT/NO.131030 and Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering (SCUML) in 2021 with number RC: SC 151413758 and is duly qualified to enjoy the Tax Exemption Status granted under section 23(1c) of Company Income Tax Act (CITA) CAP C21 LFN 2004 (as amended to date). 


AWITA activities are designed to strengthen capacity of women and help them reach their full potential by developing resources needed to achieve AWITA’s objectives and providing access to the necessary knowledge, technology and expertise in developing inclusive and sustainable solutions.

AWITA has good working relationship with the government and wide range of stakeholders in Nigeria, and has capability of identifying appropriate key stakeholders as may be required by any project and establishes cordial working relationships for effective and efficient project implementation.
