ASAL Youth Development Association.

ASAL Youth Development Association is a humanitarian non-governmental and non-profit making organization which was founded in Hargeisa in 2001. The organization is legally registered at the offices of the Attorney General and Ministry of Planning and Coordination of Somaliland. ASAL dedicates to address the impacts of climate change such as food insecurity, displacements, water scarcity, poor economic, and limited access of basic services faced by the population of Somaliland.

ASAL supports the most food insecure and livelihood-challenged pastoral and agro-pastoral households, IDPs and marginalized groups through implementing different humanitarian programmers such as emergency response, safe-living, food security, early recovery and livelihood enhancements, climate resilience, agricultural inputs, education, health, WASH and protection programmers.
