Among the continents of the world, Africa is one of the most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change, with our local community bearing the brunt.
From droughts to deforestation, our natural ecosystems are under siege, threatening the livelihoods of millions. According to the African Union Commission, 118 million extremely poor people will be exposed to droughts, floods, and extreme heat in Africa by 2030. UNICEF reports that over 30 million people are displaced annually due to climate change.
