Summary

The campaign aims to provide psychosocial support to at least 200 women to alleviate trauma, train them in essential business skills and income-generating activities, and offer financial and material support to 160 selected women to help them regain their livelihoods.

Challenge

Imagine a world where women in rural crisis zones have the strength, skills, and support to rebuild their lives and communities. In the Boyo Division of the North West Region of Cameroon, thousands of women face unimaginable hardships due to ongoing conflicts. Our campaign aims to empower 200 rural women by providing them with the tools and support they need to restore their livelihoods and foster community resilience.

In this local community, women are the backbone of their families and communities, but the ongoing conflict has left many displaced, traumatized, and without the means to support their families. According to recent data, over 70% of households in these areas are led by women who struggle daily to provide basic necessities.

Solution

Our goal is to provide psychosocial support, business skills training, and financial and material assistance to women like Mary. By addressing their immediate needs and equipping them with the tools for sustainable livelihoods, we can transform their lives and create lasting change in their communities. Our activities focused on 

1. Providing psychosocial support to at least 200 women to alleviate psychological trauma, stress, and depression. 

2. Training 200 women on essential business skills, including finance management, sales, and best farming practices, as well as basic income-generating activities. 

3. Offering financial and material support to 160 selected women, providing business tools and farming inputs to help them regain their livelihoods. 

We have very committed team have been dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities for over 4 years. With a team of experienced professionals in psychosocial support, business development, and community mobilization, we have successfully implemented numerous projects that have transformed lives. To date, we have supported over 1,000 individuals, helping them build resilience and improve their livelihoods. Join us in making a difference!
