Challenge

WOGED has come a long way, working tirelessly with the vulnerable, the fleeing, the hungry, the displaced, and the marginalized—the list goes on. We could no longer remain indifferent or continue doing just the basics.

The displaced need love, the hungry need food, the homeless need shelter, and the lonely need comfort. It’s not just about you and me; it’s about us as a community—about our shared humanity.

Can we continue to be indifferent? No more. It’s been seven long years of hardship for so many who have been forced out of their homes.

You’ve heard their stories—perhaps just one or two—but they are all so similar, with the same underlying theme: suffering. When you hear one story, you’ve heard them all.

Solution

We need to team up soon and “Drop a Coin! Build a Shelter.” We’re not finished until our community is whole. Only then can we say we’ve succeeded as a people, as humanity, because we are one.

"Drop a Coin! Build a Shelter!" is coming up because we see the urgent need to support many stranded women and girls in our community. We ask you to "Just Join Us." Join us in building a community that will forever be grateful and will stand the test of time. The world is full of good, healthy, and wealthy people—many of whom don’t know how to reach those in need.

WOGED is committed to bridging this gap. Don’t worry that your dropped coins won’t reach their destination. We are here to ensure it works for you and them. As you help build a shelter, your contribution will be recognized in our community. The Wall of Fame at the shelter will display your name in bold as one of the benefactors.
