Development & Microfinance Foundation (NDMF), a leading organization in Yemen with over 24 years of experience in development and microfinance.

Nama’a was established by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).). Nama’a collaborates with esteemed partners such as SFD, UNHCR, ESCWA, and KFW. We are also proud to be members of the Yemen Microfinance Network and the Arab Countries Microfinance Network (SANABEL). With 14 branches across Yemen and a dedicated team of 230 employees, Nama’a strives to reduce unemployment, alleviate poverty, and enhance the living standards of disadvantaged individuals and families.

Nama’a considers itself an NGOs and provides civil society organizations, that focus on community service and sustainable development activities. Moreover, Nama’a has been funding SMEs and micro-entrepreneurs for many years.

The Foundation is actively executing various projects to improve livelihoods, enhance food security, advance education, and promote economic empowerment.

For your reference, Nama’a has had the privilege of implementing MSMEs and small business owners from 2000 to 2024 at $56,723,390 benefiting 115,783 individuals.
