Local Communities

The Vision: Towards open and advanced local communities, that have the ability to innovate, create, and pioneer in investing and managing the resources, and opportunities available to achieve sustainable and comprehensive local development.

The Mission: "Local Communities" is a Palestinian NGO, comprising a team of initiators, experts, academics, and community activists, who seek to promote the concept of local citizenship in the light of good local government and an effective investment of the latent and available resources. And that is through building and developing the capacities of citizens and local institutions; establishing partnerships; exchanging expertise, experiences, and opportunities at the national and regional levels; research and development; and supporting local economic and social initiatives.
