Age of the organization and experience in successfully implementing projects.

Hanimaadhoo Zuvaanunge Jamiyyaa has been running since 1993 without interruption.

The Hanimaadhoo Zuvaanunge Jamiyyaa has been running a pre-school since 1999. The

activities of the association include running a pre-school since 2003, successfully conducting 15

Quran competitions targeting Hanimaadhoo, and holding a football tournament every two years

to strengthen the relationship among the youth of the village. The replacement of street lights and

construction of an office building in Hanimaadhoo under the UNDP's GEF program are notable

experiences. The thiladhekunu sarafuverikamuge Award and National Award obtained by the

Hanimaadhoo Zuvaanunge Jamiyyaa are proof of this.

In addition, the village held a & quot; Hubasana" event to showcase the work of the people and

UNDP programs will be conducted. The sound system of the mosque will be completely

renovated with the help of donors.


Purpose and main activities of the association.


The two founders of the association, Anwar Abdul Rahman of Hanimaadhoo and Hassan

Abdullah of Gulfamuge, had a vision of making the people of Hanimaadhoo a healthy, educated,

united and hardworking people who love Islam and are free from drugs. Conducting educational

and sports activities and participating in social work.


Administrative and management structure of the association


The association is administered by a voluntary executive committee appointed by

a vote of the members. The Executive Committee consists of 7 members. The preschool employs

5 paid staff. A person designated by the association shall be involved in the operation of the

preschool on a voluntary basis.


Experience in various projects


The association has successfully completed various projects. A UNDP project,

preschool toilet work, construction of the association's new office and GEF project to convert

street lights to solar or LED lights will be successfully completed with the assistance of

Hovadu Aid. They are assisting in the construction of the pre-school building, the continuous

running of the preschool and various activities conducted by the school. In addition, an

agricultural program and a pharmacy project have been implemented at the request of the

Ministry of Fisheries. In addition, the Hanimaadhoo School Library has been developed with

the assistance of BML Community Fund. The second phase of the Asia Foundation Project is

currently underway. During the past 29 years of its existence, assistance has not been

temporarily or totally suspended by any governmental entity, domestic or foreign entity, or

organization, due to embezzlement of money or property, or negligence in such matter or any

other matter.
