Green Social Research Organization (GSRO) is a non-profit, non-governmental, and non-political organization registered with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan (Registration No. 3612) and based in Herat province. Since 2015, GRO has been implementing diverse yet focused projects in research, capacity building, education, protection. and livelihoods.

GSRO is an active member of the Durable Solutions Working Group, GIHA (Gender in Humanitarian Action), FSAC (Food Security and Agriculture Cluster), and the Protection Cluster, contributing to coordinated efforts for sustainable development and humanitarian assistance in Afghanistan.
