FHD is a non-governmental, non-profit organization was stablished on 2014 as a leading local organization in the field of humanitarian relief in Yemen and currently running multi-sectoral programs in humanitarian field such as WASH, nutrition, health, CCCM & shelter and protection in conflict-ridden governorates. Some of our relief interventions are in IbbLahjHadhramout (Sayoun), TaizAl-HodeidaSana'aHajja , AlBayda'aAmran governorates with a strong ability of access to the targeted communities and general popular acceptance by the local authorities in those areas.

Work Fields:

- Humanitarian development in the fields of education, economic empowerment, community development, capacity building, support and rehabilitation of women.

- Emergency response and relief in the areas of health, food security, shelter, nutrition, protection, water and sanitation.

Our Mission;

For Human Development Foundation seeks to contribute to positive change in Yemeni society through capacity building, raising awareness, mobilizing domestic and international resources and directing them to create job opportunities in society and to find effective economic development tools.


Scope of Work;

Over the past years, FHD has contributed to the implementation of many projects that have brought about a tangible change in the lives of thousands of beneficiaries in several areas. Its projects have focused on the most vulnerable and needy groups, such as women, the elderly and children. Most of the projects have been characterized by sustainability, such as enabling some individuals to improve their economic status and others aim to improve basic services. Through its various activities, the Foundation seeks to reach the largest possible number of affected communities in coordination with all humanitarian partners locally and internationally.
