Terre des Hommes Italy Foundation in Burkina Faso is an international NGO active from 19 years in the country, working directly in 6 of the 13 regions of Burkina Faso.

TDHI's mandate is the promotion of children's rights and child safeguarding. TDHI has developed and diversified its activities: protection and defense of children's rights, prevention of all forms of abuse and violence, psychosocial support to children in emergency situations, social reintegration of children in conflict with the law, promotion of basic and maternal health, primary and vocational education, and support to governance, inclusion and social dialogue.

Its strategies of intervention include advocacy; capacity building of partner institutions/structures, civil society and grassroots communities; digital innovation; peer-to-peer learning; provision of essential services and products for children and their families, resource mobilization
