EDUCATION PROGRAMS

A. Education for Orphans and Poor (Formal Education)

Our commitment is to provide proper education for orphans and poor in Indonesia so that they can be expected to become the next generation of the country who are independent, skilled, and religious.

1. Scholarship for Achievement (BASIS)

We give these outstanding scholarships to foster children who have good achievements in the academic and non-academic fields. We give this program as a form of appreciation for their achievements.

2. Tutoring

Tutoring is a guidance activity that aims to increase the potential and talents of children. This activity is carried out after they come home from school. With this tutoring, we hope that we can explore children's talents and interests so that they can achieve more in accordance with the talents of each child.

B. Skills Training for Orphans and Poor (PEKAN)

PEKAN is an activity given to orphans and poor in the form of skills training (life skill) to develop the potential in each child. The training provided includes the lessons about assembling computer hardwares, creating design, repairing cellphone and managing automotive repair shops.

HEALTH PROGRAM

A. Health Center for Moms and Children (PSIA)

This program is our effort to provide the community with free medical treatments. This program offers periodic free counseling and medical checks for moms and children so that they can meet their health needs.

B. Free Ambulance Service (Healthy GYD)

We provide assistance in the form of free shuttle or pick-up services to the hospital using an ambulance. With this assistance, we hope that we can reduce the burden of the poor so that they do not need to spend more money to rent an ambulance from hospitals or clinics.

C. Nutrition Support Program for Orphans and Poor

This program will be distributed to remote areas and remote villages in the country where the orphans and poor do not get good nutrition. With this support program, we hope that we can fulfill the nutritional intake of orphans and poor people so that they can grow up properly and healthily.

D. Support and Socialization Program of Using Mask

The availability of masks as well as the socialization about the importance of using masks are very much needed during this pandemic. Seeing these conditions, Griya Yatim & Dhuafa created a program to give free masks to traders and socialize the importance of using masks during this pandemic.

E. Toilet Support Program for Orphans and Poor

The need for toilets is one of human basic needs. However, many children in remote villages do not have good toilet facilities. Thus, we provide toilet support programs for orphans and poor in remote villages so that their hygiene and personal health can be maintained.

F. Cheerful Circumcision Program

Cheerful circumcision program is a free circumcision program held every year to help orphans and poor who have not performed circumcision. This program involves professional medical personnel and presents some entertainment for kids such as inviting clowns and providing wagons for kids to ride. On top of that, we provide a prize of one bicycle unit to add to the joy of the orphans who are being circumcised.

G. GYD Green Program

Environmental care programs are carried out in the form of planting green trees and providing trash bins for the community so that we can maintain our personal health and create a better environment.

EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM

A. Empowerment Program for Moms (Bunda Berdaya)

This program is held specially for widows who take care of their children by themselves. This program is implemented by providing entrepreneurial skills training and also providing capital funds. By joining this program, the participants are expected to be economically empowered and independent.

B. Independent and Productive Dhuafa Action (Simantap)

This is an empowerment program that we provide to poor people who want to open their own business for their lives by providing support in the form of giving capital funds and several other business support tools.

DAKWAH PROGRAM

A. Aid for Worship Facilities

It is a program carried out by GYD by providing support for the construction of Islamic religious facilities, especially those that are damaged and less suitable for use. We hope that this support can raise the enthusiasm of Moslems to keep going to mosques.

SOCIAL PROGRAM

A. GDR (GYD Disaster Relief)

This is a support program for orphans & poor people who become victims of natural disasters such as floods, landslides, earthquakes, tsunamis and others that have occurred across the country. 

B. CHEERFUL HOMECOMING PROGRAM

Homecoming is something that has always been waited for by those who have a hometown, including orphans and poor people, because that moment is the opportunity to be able to gather with families and relatives. Come join us to give unforgettable joy to Indonesian orphans and dhuafa.

C. HOLIDAY ALLOWANCE AND PARCEL FOR ORPHANS

This is a program where we provide support to orphans and poor people in the forms of THR (holiday allowance) and Parcel every month of Ramadan so that they can bring the allowance and parcels with them when they go back to their hometowns.

D. BUILDING LANSIA

This is a program to support the elderly in fulfilling the basic needs of their life.
