Formal Education Network for Private Schools

Formal Education Network for Private Schools (FENPS) has implemented programs for over 18 years in Somalia consistently and compliantly with donor regulations and standards and with documented, audited institutional procedures. Formal Education Network for Private Schools (FENPS) is non-governmental organization, and was established to take a role in addressing the particular needs of especially vulnerable groups in society, for example, young girls in general, children belonging to minority groups, internally displaced people, refugees, returnees, the disabled and poor children from deprived backgrounds, who often lack education, health care, protection and livelihood opportunities. The objective of FENPS is to provide children and youth with access to quality education (through schools) and adults (through vocational training), human rights protection; and to engage them in livelihood causes.
