·       A civil non-governmental organization, licensed No. (105/2021) issued by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor on 3/8/2021 and enjoys an independent legal personality and financial liability. SCCF engages in an activity such ((health, development- charitable) and does not aim to make commercial profit.

v Geographic Scope

·       The main headquarters of the Foundation is the city of Ataq, Shabwah Governorate, and its geographic scope includes all governorates of the Republic of Yemen.

v Goals:

 The Foundation works on embodying the meanings of benevolence, compassion, integration, solidarity, and cooperation in charitable works in coordination with the competent authorities to achieve the following objectives:

·       Combating and eradicating cancerous tumors in Yemen in general and in Shabwah Governorate in particular.

·       Providing the financial and technical capabilities for the diagnosis and treatment of patients and taking care of poor individuals, communities and families who are unable to bear the costs and burdens of cancer treatment.

·       Deepening the spirit of solidarity, cooperation, and love among society circles in a way that enhances official and popular efforts to support its programs aimed at eliminating cancerous diseases and tumors and providing them with treatment for patients.

·       Finding therapeutic solutions to combat cancer.

·       Searching for funded bodies from inside and outside Yemen to support the Foundation's programs in the fight against cancer. 

·       Attracting and qualifying specialists with appropriate scientific qualifications, whether in the field of cancer or charitable work as volunteers for the Foundation, as well as sending medical cadres for postgraduate studies in the field of oncology and returning them to work and serve cancer patients in Shabwah Governorate.

·       Establishing specialized centers for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients, and to organize a list of tasks and specializations for these centers.

·       Contributing to investment projects for the benefit of the Foundation.

·       Work to improve the quality of life and help patients and their families cope with the burden of cancer.

·       Raising the level and quality of diagnostic and treatment services for cancer patients and providing them with psychological support as well as medical support.

·        Raising the level of public health awareness in the community through comprehensive awareness of cancer, how to prevent it, and the importance of early detection.

·       Organizing and implementing programs for early detection and diagnosis of cancer diseases according to international medical recommendations.

·       Upgrading the administrative performance and the financial system of the Foundation to ensure the provision of distinguished service.
