Center for Peace Advocacy and Sustainable Development (CEPASD) started in 2013 as a student campaign to promote peace, youth and sustainable development and was registered in 2018 with CAC and United Nations Volunteer in 2020.

 

 

CEPASD take a holistic approach to bring young people to the center stage of advancing youth development and peacebuilding while leading advocacy efforts on sustainable development, gender, social justice while engaging stakeholders in strengthen youth ecosystem. CEPASD strengthens the capacity and resilience of young people to become change-makers and transformational leaders in their communities towards achieving the UN SDGs and African Union Agenda 2063

 

CEPASD have over five years of experience leading advocacy efforts, projects and programs on youth development since its operation, CEPASD carried out various advocacy, stakeholders and community engagement reaching about 10,000 people across Nigeria both directly and indirectly. CEPASD initiated Mentor Her To Greatness Program, Youth and Peacebuilding Dialogue Series, Youth Model African Union Summit, Nigeria Youth Summit, Nigeria Youth Aspiration Convergence, Youth Voices Against Electoral Violence Campaign, Global Youth Movement against Gender-Based Violence, African Youth Peace Summit, Inter-secondary school debate, Leadership in Unprecedented Time, International Peace Dialogue, International Peace Dialogue and African youth leadership forum and CEPASD Twitter Conversation Series.
