The Global Road Safety Partnership (GRSP) is a hosted programme of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), with its headquarters in Geneva. Established in 1999, GRSP is a not for profit member-based organisation, with members from leading multi- and bi-lateral development agencies, governments, business and civil society organisations. Our role is to create and support multi-sector road safety partnerships that are engaged with front-line good practice road safety interventions in countries and communities throughout the world. We play a significant roles in the coordination, delivering and implementation of programmes, such as in capacity building and training of road safety practitioners, road policing capacity building programmes, actively engage in advocacy at all levels, education interventions, and provide road safety programme coordination at the global level. GRSP is a recognised expert source of road safety knowledge and good practice. We are a chair of the Road User Working Group for the United Nations Road Safety Collaboration, a Member of FIA High Level Advisory Panel for Road Safety, a member of the ASEAN Multi Sector Road Safety Special Working Group as well as a member of the Asia Pacific Road Safety Observatory.
The GRSP Secretariat is based in Geneva, Switzerland and we have a regional office located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Globally, GRSP has and continues to work in more than 40 countries.
