Ongoing Online: The campaign is currently ongoing online, and as a result, the fundraising process continues and $6,666 has been collected so far via online and offline donations.

Summary

The campaign aims to collect second-hand clothing in modern and dynamic ways and redistribute it to people in need.

Challenge

The huge amounts of furniture and clothing produced globally cause great damage to the planet and its organisms. The fashion industry is considered to be amongst the industries that deplete natural resources and is the industry that causes the greatest amount of pollution. In addition to this, used clothes cause a huge burden on the environment due to the low rates of recycling. 

Solution

The association seeks to reuse clothing and recycle it in order to remedy its environmental impact and preserve natural resources. Individuals can contribute to this by donating to enable the establishment of the project and donating their used clothing that is still in good condition. 

The clothes will be collected, classified and prepared for recycling which gives it a second chance to contribute to society and the environment.

The donations will be used to support the development of the collection and sorting project, the recycling of the clothes, the purchase of necessary tools, the employment of necessary persons, and for additional awareness training.
