Summary
The campaign aims to boost employment opportunities for 40 rural women by providing them with essential skills and seed capital to effectively manage their family budgets and initiate entrepreneurial activities.
Challenge
Despite the potential for economic development in rural areas of Azerbaijan, women from low-income families and disabled women face significant challenges. Limited access to skills and financial resources hinders their ability to manage family budgets and engage in entrepreneurial activities.
This situation not only perpetuates economic inequality but also restricts the overall progress of communities. Addressing these barriers is essential to unlocking the full potential of these women and fostering sustainable economic development in rural Azerbaijan.
Solution
AMFA aims to enhance the social and economic conditions of women in low-income families and disabled women residing in rural areas of Azerbaijan. The proposed initiative aims to boost employment opportunities for rural women by providing them with essential skills and seed capital to effectively manage their family budgets and initiate entrepreneurial activities. Consequently, this will strengthen the skills of women, including those with disabilities in rural areas, contributing to the economic development of communities.
The selected women will be from low-income families, disabled women, and heads of households. Preference will be given to women under 45 years of age. They will receive training in financial education and business planning, along with the provision of seed capital.
