Overview:
Wherever we look in the healthcare industry, we can find new ways of using technology to fight illness, develop new vaccines and medicines, and help people to live healthier lives. Join us for an in-depth conversation with three nonprofits, part of our Tadamon Accelerator program, pushing the boundaries of how healthcare is delivered across Africa and the Middle East.
You will hear from Nasser Diallo, Founder & CEO, Clinic+O, a technology-enabled primary care network that expands access to quality, affordable health care for low-income communities in West Africa, Majd Manadre, Co-founder of Hakini, an online mental wellness platform that provides teletherapy to increase access to mental healthcare in Palestine, and Diana Yafi, Nursing Operations Manager at Find-a-Nurse, a user-friendly, online platform that makes the selection of the right caregiver for families quick, easy and problem-free.
During our talk, you will learn more about how these nonprofits are applying their expertise to solve pressing global challenges related to health and wellbeing, and what prompted them to turn their attention to technology and its potential to transform the delivery of their services. As participants in our 14-week intensive training programme, they will tell us about their challenges – from resource mobilization to reaching communities – what keeps them going and new trends we can expect to see in the field.
The webinar will be in English and open to the public.
