Overview:

Why is digital capacity particularly important to civil society and why is it vital to enable civil society access to technology and cloud-enabled operations? Digital technologies can transform how civil society organizations operate and interact with their communities and the people they serve.

Join us for an exciting opportunity to speak with TechSoup, a nonprofit social enterprise that supports nonprofits worldwide with a mission of delivering critical resources for social change, and learn what digital transformation means for civil society organizations and how they can begin this journey.

The talk will be led by Maja Durlik, a community manager and researcher at TechSoup Europe, who has experience in designing community-building events for civil society organizations in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and Maria Makowska, a Training and Education Manager at TechSoup Europe, who facilitates learning cohorts focused on digital transformation, digital leadership and digital literacy.

During our session, our speakers will answer several key questions: What is digital transformation? Why is it important for nonprofits to go through this, sometimes difficult, change? How can nonprofits assess their digital capability? Where can you start from – what are the first steps on the path to digital transformation? What challenges can nonprofits expect?

The webinar will be in English (with translation Arabic) and open to the public.
