The Tadamon Crowdfunding Academy's training program in Yemen was launched yesterday with the participation of the selected civil society organizations (CSOs). The complete list of selected organizations from Yemen:

Tadamon Crowdfunding Academy is funded by the Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development (ISFD), managed by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Through the Tadamon Crowdfunding Academy, the selected civil society organizations will participate in 8 weeks training program that enables the organizations to raise funds using crowdfunding, an innovative and alternative tool for fundraising. The 17 civil society organizations were selected from 86 applicants following a comprehensive evaluation and screening of their ideas and the potential to bring about positive change in their communities.

The ideas developed by the CSOs aim to introduce projects and initiatives that respond to the needs and challenges of communities with a focus on women and children. The proposed projects range from women empowerment to capacity-building projects. We are fighting against violence, food security and agriculture, health, education, vocational training, and climate change.

The selected CSOs will develop their crowdfunding campaign through e-learning tools and offline training using learning materials, presentations, work assignments, and guidance from leading crowdfunding experts.

"In Yemen, such programs are very important because they will help strengthen the capacity of the national/local partners to be able to implement activities and initiatives that will reduce the suffering and the hardship of Yemenis affected by the ongoing conflict as it will assist in improving the livelihoods of the communities." a representative from UNDP said. 

Upon successfully completing the CFA training program, all participants will be able to launch their own crowdfunding campaigns on local crowdfunding platforms.

تموَل أكاديمية تضامن للتمويل الجماعي من صندوق التضامن الإسلامي للتنمية (ISFD)، الذي يديره البنك الإسلامي للتنمية (IsDB) ، وتنفَذ من قبل برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي (UNDP).

من خلال الأكاديمية، ستشارك منظمات المجتمع المدني المختارة في برنامج تدريبي مدته ٨ أسابيع، والذي يمكّن المنظمات من جمع الأموال باستخدام التمويل الجماعي، والذي يعتبر أداة مبتكرة وبديلة لجمع التبرعات. تم اختيار ١٧ من منظمات المجتمع المدني من أصل ٨٦ بعد تقييم شامل وفحص لأفكارهم وإمكانية إحداث تغيير إيجابي في مجتمعاتهم.

تهدف الأفكار التي طورتها منظمات المجتمع المدني إلى تقديم مشاريع ومبادرات تستجيب لاحتياجات وتحديات المجتمعات مع التركيز على النساء والأطفال. تتراوح المشاريع المقترحة بين تمكين المرأة من خلال مشاريع بناء القدرات ومحاربة العنف والأمن الغذائي والزراعة والصحة والتعليم والتدريب المهني وتغير المناخ.

ستعمل منظمات المجتمع المدني المختارة على تطوير حملة التمويل الجماعي الخاصة بها من خلال أدوات التعلم الإلكتروني والتدريب الشخصي باستخدام المواد التعليمية والعروض التقديمية والواجبات والتوجيه من خبراء التمويل الجماعي الرائدين.

عند الانتهاء بنجاح من برنامج الاكاديمية التدريبي، سيتمكن جميع المشاركين من إطلاق حملات التمويل الجماعي الخاصة بهم على منصات التمويل الجماعي المحلية

قال ممثل من برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي:

"في اليمن ، مثل هذه البرامج مهمة للغاية لأنها ستساعد في تعزيز قدرة الشركاء المحليين ليكونوا قادرين على تنفيذ الأنشطة والمبادرات التي من شأنها أن تقلل من معاناة اليمنيين المتضررين من الصراع المستمر لأنها ستساعد علي تحسين سبل العيش الجماعة "
