What is the Tadamon Crowdfunding Academy?
Tadamon Crowdfunding Academy is part of the "IsDB - ISFD NGO Empowerment for Poverty Reduction Program”, which is funded by the Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development (ISFD), managed by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and other strategic partners. It strengthens and builds the skills and capacities of CSOs to prepare and run a successful crowdfunding campaign to mobilize funds for their projects.
What do we provide?
Capacity Building: We offer both an online and in-person training program that has a tailored and agile curriculum that enhances your skills and capabilities to finance your impact innovations, enabling a shift from grant-based to financially sustainable alternative finance methods.
1-1 Mentorship and World-Class Expertise: We invite you to join a supportive community of changemakers where you gain mentorship support from world-class national and global crowdfunding, copywriting, design, and social media experts.
Resource Mobilization: We help your organization mobilize resources, gain greater visibility, and connect to donors, and partners.
Improved Visibility: Through the power of storytelling, we brand and package your impactful ideas and achievements for greater visibility and amplify your development results.
Networking and Community Building: We connect CSOs, grassroots community members, and development supporters in OIC Member Countries and globally.
MODULES
The Tadamon Crowdfunding Academy modules are tailored to fit your needs and improve your skills to launch your successful crowdfunding campaign. Designed to be fun and engaging, the modules cover the needed tools for you to design your project and create a compelling story and narrative so that you can transform your idea into reality. The modules will focus on:

ELIGIBILITY AND SELECTION CRITERIA
We are looking for civil society organizations (NGOs, citizen groups, social entrepreneurs, development start-ups) that are working in the field of poverty reduction and support for the most vulnerable groups, women, youth, and people with disability empowerment, climate change, energy, and environment, STEM education and digital access to learning, community development, agriculture, and rural development, refugees and peacebuilding.
We expect from you:
● Motivation and proactivity
● Participation of two or three team members in all online and offline trainings
● Completing work assignments on time
● Launch your crowdfunding campaigns within 7 months after the start of the training program.
HOW TO APPLY
To apply with a project idea for Tadamon Crowdfunding Academy, your organization needs to sign up and create a profile on the Tadamon Platform.
- If you already have a profile on the Tadamon platform, log in to your profile and click the section “Dashboard”. In this section, click the “Apply: Brunei Darussalam button to apply with your proposal.
- If you don’t have a profile on the Tadamon platform, please create a profile at the Tadamon platform via the link: https://tadamon.community/sign-up. After signing up, log in to your profile and click the section “Dashboard”. In this section, click “Apply: Brunei Darussalam” to apply with your proposals.
You can submit your project idea/proposal by April 15, 2024 at 23:59 local time.
