Summary

Currently, three beneficiaries of our organization are in dire need of modern hearing aids. Our main task now is to help them. We need to purchase new generation European standard hearing aids for (3) three beneficiaries. The required amount is 5100 (five thousand one hundred) US dollars.

Challenge

Thousands of hearing-impaired people need hearing aids. Unfortunately, they do not have the financial means to purchase quality hearing aids. Currently, three beneficiaries of our organization are in dire need of them. Our main task now is to help them.

Solution

For 4 years, the NGO "Mehr Kozda" has been helping disabled people with social problems, working with people with speech and hearing impairments. As a rule, those who do not hear, do not speak. Our organization provides them with free legal advice. But this is not enough. The main task is to purchase hearing aids for the hearing impaired, to at least somehow help them not to break off communication with the outside world.

Our goal is to create a unique program that helps people with speech and hearing impairments in their everyday social life. Here is how we would like to describe it in our imagination:

People with speech and hearing impairments can get sick, like other people, they need help and advice from a doctor, they want to learn something new or study, they need help in raising children, health and education, to stay, faced with problematic or incomprehensible situations that arise when driving a car, social i.e. going through the registry office, receiving birth or death certificates, situations when it is necessary to contact the Single Window and when working with documents and it is no secret that the services of a sign language interpreter are needed in more frequent cases, and these are natural situations that a person can face every day. They will have to pay money if they contact them every time they need this service. And having developed this program together with our team, their problem will be easily solved. They download the program we created to their phones and gadgets through the Play Market. They will enter this program as in any other program and enter the necessary information. Having entered this program, they make a Video Call directly to the operator-interpreter and explain their problem. In this case, the operator begins to work on the information that this person needs. If they only need help in contacting a healthy person, i.e. translation, the operator will also translate and help these people understand each other. If the solution to the problem needs to be solved with the help of another specialist, the operator will simultaneously contact the responsible specialist, find a solution to this problem and help. This is how our Community and Public Program works. It will make it easier for our citizens and people with speech and hearing impairments to solve their problems at the same time.

Have you ever seen a person who does not hear, and also does not see? Surely not, because such people sit at home, in one place, absolutely helpless and cut off from our world.

To do this, with the support of the IsDB, ISFD, and UNDP, we have developed a crowdfunding campaign. We need to raise 5100 (five thousand one hundred) US dollars (3) for three beneficiaries who are in dire need of new generation hearing aids of the European standard.
