Summary

The Association aims to find solutions for unemployment and to find opportunities in the field of seed cultivation for unemployed persons. 

Challenge

A certain group in the Al-Dawadmi region is under the poverty line and do not have the needed qualifications that enable them to obtain a job. 

Solution

‘Through training, we fix unemployment’ is the slogan of the campaign. The association aims to remedy the issue of unemployment in the Al-Dawadmi region by training unemployed men and women on how to collect seeds, sell them, take care of them, and sell the yield for a good price. Moreover, the campaigns aim to educate them in the field of agriculture to enable them to obtain a job that generates income for them and improves their life. With 600,000 riyals, they aim to train 30 unemployed persons as well as purchase and prepare 30 plant nurseries. Through empowering and educating the group to create their means of income, the campaign aims to improve the living standard of unemployed persons in the Al-Dawadmi region.
