We are excited to announce the Tadamon Accelerator for Food Security, and we are now calling for forward-thinking partners eager to collaborate on this impactful initiative. Apply now!
What is Tadamon Accelerator for Food Security?
The Tadamon Accelerator for Food Security is a transformative 11-week program designed to empower civil society organizations (CSOs) with the skills, mentorship, and resources needed to develop innovative, tech-driven solutions for tackling food security challenges in conflict-affected regions. Funded by IsDB and ISFD and implemented by UNDP, this intensive online program includes expert-led training modules, interactive workshops, and personalized one-on-one mentorship. At the program’s conclusion, grants totaling $850,000 will be awarded to the top 50 CSOs, enabling them to scale their impactful solutions. The accelerator program will run from the end of January to June, followed by a grant process where the CSOs are expected to implement their projects over the next six months, concluding at the end of the year.
The accelerator targets CSOs registered across 12 countries with a focus on food security projects: Afghanistan, Burkina Faso, Chad, Djibouti, Libya, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Palestine, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen. It also welcomes applications from CSOs registered in 36 OIC Member Countries, provided they collaborate with and apply through a local CSO from one of the 12 targeted OIC countries. The open call for CSO applications will launch in mid-December.
