Tadamon is an innovative and transformative partnership initiative by IsDB, ISFD & UNDP.
What is Tadamon
Tadamon is a transnational program that improves civil society
organizations in 57 OIC Member Countries by providing visibility,
funding and knowledge.
- A web-platform that lists high-quality CSOs and provides them visibility.
As a web-platform, Tadamon offers a comprehensive, easily searchable list of high-quality CSOs with a proven record in 57 countries (members of the IsDB). Local partners can be easily searched on the platform.
- An educational program that makes CSOs better at what they’re doing.
As an educational program, Tadamon offers cutting edge skill-building for everything CSOs need: from fundraising and management to communication and public relations.
- A bridge between different countries, CSOs and stakeholders.
As a bridge, Tadamon connects grassroots communities in OIC member countries working on development issues. It connects donors and practitioners; it connects Africa, Asia, Europe and MENA; it connects CSOs, partnering organizations and donors.
Tadamon was born out of a need to map out the Civil Society landscape in OIC member countries and to better understand the needs of local communities and who are the people and organizations that are best in delivering solutions to local problems.
Together with our partners from UNDP & ISDB and ISFD a we had a vision that this could be done combining existing skills and new technologies. Throughout our professional and personal careers we have witnessed how crowdfunding and building communities across boundaries has breathed new life into old ideas and brought new innovations into existence. For us, every individual, be their contribution big or small has the power to make our world a better place, when brought together. And this is the fundamental idea behind Tadamon.
Our team consists of dedicated experts from across the world with a shared vision of delivering change to local communities. Members of our community include professionals in development, alternative finance, and communications to name a few. All here to provide tailored services for our community members.
We are passionate about taking dedicated organizations to the next level with the help of international finance and world class expertise. Tadamon is for organizations that range from Education to Agricultural Development. We are committed to making the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals a success story!
Organizations that we are looking to join our community work with:
- Coronavirus response,
- Youth empowerment,
- Climate change,
- Energy and environment,
- STEM education,
- Getting kids back to school,
- Community development,
- Agriculture and rural development
Tadamon and our partners are committed to building stronger communities and helping those less fortunate. Equality, transparency, accountability, human rights stand at the core of everything we do.
